WINDOW TO THE EAST

  • all groups need to cover their own travel expenses to the festival and back.

  • during the festival a group can travel around 500-900 km. The Festival Committee shall provide fuel for this.

  • the Festival Committee provides transport for groups coming to Warsaw by plane.

  • the participants of the event receive 3 meals a day and food for the journey back.

  • the Festival Committee covers the costs of tickets to Aquapark and to historical places.

  • the Festival Committee shall provide groups with guides during their stay in Poland.

  • during its stay a group will perform 3-4 concerts. Concerts last 20-50 minutes.

  • most of the concerts are open-air performances.

  • the Festival Committee shall select groups which will cover part of the travel expenses and costs of stay.

  • the costs of accommodation depend on the chosen kind of accommodation and amount to €20 - 25 for one person per day.

  • application forms are accepted from 15 December 2009 by e-mail, fax or mail.

  • we would also like to ask you to send promotional materials (posters, brochures, photographs, short CV’s).

  • if your group is selected the Festival Committee shall send you confirmation and an agreement will have to be signed.

  • there’s a possibility of participation in the festival for free, if a group will invite one Polish group for 7 days, providing its members with accommodation, food and a programme involving cultural events and organized leisure time. If a group agrees to these terms, the Festival Committee shall find a proper partner for the group.
